About the Library

Al-Qasemi Academy Library is a central academic knowledge hub supporting teaching, learning, and research. It provides an integrated environment combining printed collections, digital resources, academic databases, lending services, research guidance, and workshops.

The library follows a contemporary model that extends beyond the traditional role of storing books. It serves as an active space for discovering information, developing research skills, producing academic knowledge, and promoting reading and lifelong learning.

The Library operates within the Academy's framework of academic centers and departments and works closely with academic programs, departments, centers, and faculty members.

  1. Open the Library catalog or a subscribed database.

Lending Policy

  • Up to five books.
  • Loan period: 21 days.
  • Renewal upon request, provided the item has not been reserved.
  • Up to seven books.
  • Loan period: 21 days.

  • Loan period: one semester.
  • Renewal may be requested through the end of the academic year.

External visitors may use printed and available digital resources within the library.

External borrowing, where approved, is subject to registration, membership conditions, and a security arrangement determined by the library.

Returns

Books may be returned through the external return box near the library's main entrance.

The borrower remains responsible until the item is processed in the system.

According to the submitted policy, late returns incur a fee of NIS 5 per book for each day of delay.

Extended delays may result in accumulated fees, account suspension, or temporary loss of borrowing privileges.

The borrower may be required to:

  1. Purchase a replacement copy from the same or a newer edition.
  2. Pay the replacement and processing costs determined by the Library.
