February 26, 2026Al-Qasemi Academy Holds Its Annual Educational Conference: “Education in a Changing Reality”
Al-Qasemi Academy held its annual educational conference on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, under the theme “Education in a Changing Reality,” with wide participation from researchers, specialists, heads of local authorities, and educators from across the country. The conference conveyed a clear message: advancing education in the Arab community is a cornerstone for building a more just and prosperous future.
The conference served as a unifying platform where academic knowledge met educational practice, bringing together researchers, educators, and decision-makers to discuss innovative educational approaches that respond to present-day challenges and future aspirations. Beyond being an annual academic event, the conference represented a strategic step toward inspiring the educational field and strengthening the role of the Arab community in shaping educational change in the country.
The conference opened with a keynote address by the President of Al-Qasemi Academy, Prof. Mohammad Amara, who emphasized the Academy’s commitment to promoting scientific research and fostering conscious educational leadership capable of driving meaningful change. This was followed by the main lecture delivered by Prof. Nimrod Aloni, who addressed the ethical challenges of education in the twenty-first century, emphasizing the idea that “change is the only constant.”
The conference program included parallel scientific sessions addressing key themes such as innovation in teaching methods, the integration of artificial intelligence in education, identity and values in a multicultural society, language education, early childhood education, and teacher preparation for a rapidly changing world. Dozens of research papers were presented, highlighting recent trends in developing learning environments, improving language learning, enhancing teacher well-being, and fostering students’ critical and creative thinking.
In addition, the conference featured parallel applied workshops led by members of the scientific committee, offering practical tools in innovative thinking, psychological resilience, school crisis management, and the effective use of technology in education. Innovative research posters presented by students and researchers were also displayed in the museum courtyard.
The conference included two panel discussions. The first, “The Role of Local Authorities in Leading Educational Change,” brought together heads of local authorities and focused on improving the quality of education in the Arab community and strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and the educational field. The second panel, “Challenges and Future Prospects of the Education System in Israel,” featured experts in education policy who discussed key issues such as the status of teachers, education and identity, education for life and democracy, as well as challenges related to inequality and the potential for meaningful partnerships.
At the conclusion of the conference, Al-Qasemi Academy reaffirmed its commitment to making this annual event a central milestone for educational renewal, deepening academic dialogue, and advancing educational practices that meet contemporary challenges and contribute to the development and prosperity of society.
