Al-Qasemi Library

The library of Al-Qasemi Academic College of Education provides academic and advisory services to academic institutions, public libraries, researchers, students, as well as the general public. The library contains thousands of entries and references in Arabic, Hebrew and English. In addition to thousands of books, journals, and articles including electronic materials in different fields.

Dean of Students

The Dean’s office of student serves over 3000 students; its mission is to care for the academic needs and well-being of the students for the duration of their studies and thereafter. In addition to economic and social support that aims to enhance the student’s experience through participation in academic and extracurricular activities.

Al-Qasemi student union plays a major role in developing students' leadership skills, academic excellence and social responsibilities.

One of our flagship programs is the social involvement and responsibility unit through which our students volunteer in various community centers and schools. The Dean’s office supports the social and psychological needs of our students through our counseling services.

We also provide our students with academic support through tutoring in foreign languages, discipline subjects and other requirements.

In addition, the office supports visiting students and scholars throughout their stay at Al-Qasemi.

Research & Assessment Authority

The Research and Assessment Authority (RAA) focuses on developing and reinforcing the scientific Research. The RAA particularly focuses on the social and educational research in different fields, addressing cognitive, social, behavioral, emotional and psychological aspects. It provides feedback on the educational and teaching process in a wide scale to enhance the efficiency and productivity at Al-Qasemi. Moreover, it works closely with researchers and scholars from universities in the country and abroad.

The RAA always encourages Al-Qasemi researchers and lecturers to integrate research into their course of instruction. It also provides them with budgets for research, consulting and statistical services.

Each year, the RAA holds a conference on education in which researchers from Al-Qasemi, and other universities locally and globally get involved.

Scientific Research Center

Al-Qasemi Scientific Research Center was launched in 2008. The main emphasis of the Center is to foster high-level research in Biology and Chemistry. A highly interdisciplinary scientific investigation at the center is based on intensive collaboration between biologists, chemists, and computer scientists.

The center has hired highly trained personnel with cutting-edge technologies to conduct basic and applied research in the fields of Cell Biology, Virology, Medicinal plants, Microbiology, Chemistry and Chemo-informatics sciences. In addition, researchers are engaged in collaborative initiatives, such as developing of medicinal plants based drugs. The researchers in the center have published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers including books, book chapters.

Public Relations Office

Both, the public and the international relations office aim to strengthen the status of the college locally and internationally, as well as to build and get involved in local and international partnerships, academic programs, and activities.

International Relations Office

The mission of the office includes:
- Drafting and discussing international cooperation agreements
- Developing and maintaining a network of international contacts
- Organizing and participating in international conferences and seminars
- Students and faculty exchange ( incoming and outgoing)
- Internationalizing the curriculum
- Managing and promoting Erasmus+ projects and programmes
- Organizing and hosting visits from international institutions
- Providing the college community with information on exchange programs and international scholarships

Arabic Language and Literature Academy

Al-Qasemi Arabic Language and Literature Academy is the supreme body of the Arabic language in the country. It is one of the institutions affiliated with Al-Qasemi College that was established in 2009. It aims to maintain the integrity of the status of the Arabic language, and seeks to make it compatible with the needs of recent developments of contemporary sciences, literature and arts.

The Academy constantly organizes national and international conferences, scholarly or culturally oriented workshops, in addition to supervising publications of linguistic and literary studies, and contributing to the revival of Arabic and Islamic heritage. Moreover, the Academy provides recommendations for the relevant institutions of similar interest in Arabic to facilitate the diffusion and spread of the language. The activities of the Academy include research and recommendations available through the publication of special journals, books and conference papers. The Academy’s main interest is directed to the study of both classic and modern Arabic in different contexts: Linguistics, literature, sciences, social and political.

The Academy works towards meeting all language-based needs of speakers of Arabic to provide them with scientific and research consulting in matters related to language and civilization. To serve this aim, the Academy welcomes the best scholars in the study of Arabic and experts in other fields, including humanities, social sciences and exact sciences. The Academy works towards cooperation with the different institutions and centers in Al-Qasemi College and other research and academic centers in the country and abroad in all fields that are related to Arabic.

Resource Center for Instruction and Learning

The center, which includes various disciplinary learning centers, aims at providing students and teachers with teaching aids, methods, advanced technologies and learning materials of different types such as written and audiovisual relevant to their fields of study.

Student Service Center (Sawiyan)

Sawiyan (Together) aims to provide psychological, social and academic counseling to students for personal, academic and professional development. The center provides various services for students with learning and physical disabilities. Moreover, the center conducts “Student – Helps – Student” activities, especially before and during exams, in addition to workshops, seminars and other activities that support their academic life at Al-Qasemi.

Early Childhood Development Center (Bidayat)

Bidayat Al-Qasemi Center is an academic-community center that has been in operation since 2008. The center operates among Al-Qasemi Academic College of Education and offers ongoing professional development for those already working in the field of early childhood education. In addition, the center offers multiple services and activities to professionals and parents, as well as joint activities for parents and children. In recent years, the center’s programs have extended to many Arab cities, such as East of Jerusalem, Arraba at north, and Rahat at south.

Vision Bidayat center strives to promote the welfare and development of children and their families within the Arab society. We exert efforts to raise awareness and expand knowledge about early childhood education, and to provide meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences. In addition, it promotes humanistic values, including equality, respect for human beings and their differences, freedom of choice and of expression and social justice. We concentrate our attempt at promoting the development of human capital, improvement of early childhood education and fostering of social responsibility.

Objectives: Enhancing early childhood knowledge and education among professionals and significant adults in the Arab Society. Fostering high-quality interactions between caregivers and children among Arab families within a nurturing environment and the mediation of experts and mentors in the early childhood field. Promoting early childhood education at Daycares, and enriching the children's learning experiences and enjoyment within an educational and supporting environment. Developing and disseminating culture-appropriate educational/developmental knowledge, including research in relevant fields and a data resource for Arab society. Creating partnerships among academic, professional and community bodies and organizations for the advancement of preschool education.

Parenting and Family Center)

The center offers support, training and counseling to families. The main goal of the center is to advance society through educating parents and qualifying family counselors. The center conducts workshops, seminars and conferences addressing the relation between parents, parents and children, as well as the relation between families, schools, and educators.
