The personal information is provided by you of your own free will. You are aware that you are not legally required to provide the information; however, without providing it, we may be unable to offer you certain services through the website, such as making payments, registering for online services, or any other service requiring identification.
If you do not agree to this policy, in whole or in part, you are requested not to use the website or the Academy’s services provided through it.

Types of Information We Collect

The Academy collects different types of information depending on the requested service:
Information voluntarily provided by the user: personal details and identifiers given when receiving services, such as full name, ID number, address, contact details (phone and email), family member details (for example, for study program offers), and more. This information is required, for example, when making tuition and fee payments. (When making payments, credit card details are transmitted directly to secure clearing companies and are not stored in the Academy’s databases). Information on academic achievements and evaluations from other institutions (such as transcripts) or proof of education may also be collected.
Automatically collected information (technical information): when browsing our digital channels, technical information that does not directly identify you is collected, such as IP address, browser type, device type, general location data, and visited pages.

Why We Collect the Information and How We Use It

We collect and process personal information solely for legitimate and defined purposes, including:
Providing tailored services to students and adapting study programs: for providing academic services and services we are obligated to deliver under the law and directives of the Council for Higher Education.
Handling public inquiries: to contact the applicant, provide support, and efficiently address requests.
Improving services and user experience: statistical and anonymous data analysis helps us understand residents’ needs, improve website operation, and adapt content and services to the target audience.
Sending updates and notices: the Academy may send updates and essential information to residents (e.g., via email, WhatsApp, or SMS), subject to user consent and legal requirements.

Information Storage and Transfer to Third Parties

The Academy may transfer personal information to third parties in order to provide academic services, such as:
Transfer of information to subcontractors and service providers: we may share information with entities providing services to us (such as software companies, clearing companies, printing houses for official mail), for operations on behalf of the Academy. These entities are contractually bound to confidentiality and data security and may use the information only for the purpose for which it was provided.
Transfer of information required by law: if mandated by law, regulation, judicial order, or request of an authorized authority.
Transfer of information for the protection of the Academy’s rights: in cases where the transfer is necessary to protect the rights, property, or security of the Academy, its employees, or the public.
Information will be retained in the Academy’s databases for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by archive laws and relevant legal provisions. Anonymous and statistical data that does not personally identify individuals may be retained indefinitely.
Information from the Academy’s databases is not transferred outside the borders of the State of Israel.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information

Under the Privacy Protection Law, you have the right to review/correct your information: you are entitled to review your personal information held in the Academy’s databases. If you discover that the information is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, you may request its correction. You also have the right to request deletion: such a request will be reviewed according to legal provisions and answered accordingly.
To process your request, identification details must be provided to verify that the requester is indeed the information owner.
The Academy will act to process your request within 30 days and in accordance with the law. However, the Academy may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, endanger the privacy of others, or requests that the law does not require fulfillment.
To exercise these rights, a detailed request must be sent to the Academy’s Privacy Protection Officer at [email protected].

The Academy undertakes to comply with all legal provisions regarding information security, including the Privacy Protection Law. The Academy implements up-to-date and strict systems and procedures for data security and invests significant efforts in implementing and maintaining the security of the website and users’ personal information, both directly and through certified third-party service providers. While these systems reduce the risks of unauthorized access to the site’s computers, they cannot guarantee absolute security.
It is the user’s responsibility to take protective measures on the device used to access services, to maintain password confidentiality, and to avoid transferring it to another party.
