On December 15, 2025, Al-Qasemi Academic College hosted an official delegation from the U.S. Embassy as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen academic cooperation and exchange expertise, particularly in the field of English Language (EL) education, with student learning positioned as a central institutional goal.

The visit was coordinated through a joint collaboration between the English Department, headed by Dr. Iman Alloush, and the International Relations Unit, represented by Dr. Afnan Gharra Mawasi, Head of the Unit, and Ms. Basma Majadley, Unit Coordinator. The delegation was also received by Dr. Hala Habayeb, Vice President for Undergraduate Studies, and Dr. Ibtihal Asali, Head of the Exemptions Department.

The delegation included representatives from the U.S. Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section and English language programs. The College presented an overview of its academic vision, with a particular emphasis on English language education as a key driver of student learning, academic development, and readiness for engagement in academic and international frameworks. Institutional challenges and priorities in this field were also discussed.

In addition, the meeting introduced several educational and cultural programs and initiatives supported by the U.S. Embassy. Discussions explored avenues for joint cooperation and prospects for developing future partnerships, particularly those aimed at advancing English language education, expanding learning opportunities for students, and providing professional and training opportunities for academic and administrative staff.

This visit reflects Al-Qasemi Academic College’s continued commitment to enhancing the quality of English language education, placing student learning at the heart of its academic mission, and strengthening its international partnerships and engagement with global academic institutions in support of academic excellence and educational development.
