Dr. Afnan Gharra Mawassi, Head of the International Academic Relations Office at Al-Qasemi Academic College, took part in the ETEN Conference 2025, held from May 7\u20139 at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hasselt, Belgium under the title Educators in the Cultural Landscape \u2013 Awareness, Positionality, and Global Action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference brought together educators and researchers from across Europe to share insights, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovation in teacher education. It featured Thematic Interest Group (TIG) seminars, ECO\/TIG-leader meetings, and a General Assembly. Key topics included internationalization, inclusive education, and digital learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mawassi participated in the Internationalisation TIG, representing Al-Qasemi. This TIG served as a dynamic forum for promoting global engagement in education, with sessions focused on cultural agility, student well-being, and innovative international collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Qasemi\u2019s involvement reflects the college\u2019s commitment to advancing international cooperation and academic excellence in the field of teacher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
